Runway Incursion Awareness & Prevention

Runway incursions happen on a daily basis. Fortunately, most incidents are minor; however each one has the potential to develop into a catastrophic accident. Runway incursion prevention is therefore a top priority for ICAO and every regulator throughout the world.

This Course has been designed to raise awareness of the danger of runway incursions by sharing information of incidents (through case studies and facilitated discussion) and offering advice to operational personnel about how airport operators, airlines and air traffic service providers can prevent runway incursions.
